How to Send Mail or Package

Family members and friends can send mail to an inmate housed in the Union County Jail. All mail must be sent through the US Postal Service. Cash, checks, money orders, books, food, and explicit materials are not allowed. All incoming mail will be searched for contraband. To send mail to an inmate, make sure to include your complete name and return address. In addition, mail should be addressed in this format:

Funds can be deposited into an inmate’s account using the kiosk located in the jail. Money can also be deposited online through the JailATM website.

Visitation Hours

Inmates housed in the Union County Jail are allowed visitation. Each inmate is granted two 15-minute visits per day. Visits are conducted from Thursday to Sunday, 1pm to 5pm. All visits must be scheduled through the ICSolutions website. Family members and friends can also opt for offsite video visits which can also be scheduled through the website.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office maintains an online database of all inmates currently in their custody. The database is arranged alphabetically according to last name. It can be searched using the inmate’s first and last name. Each inmate is listed by name along with the primary charge, arrest date, booking agency, and a link to his record.

The Sheriff’s Office also maintains a list of its Wanted Persons. This list is also arranged alphabetically. It shows each individual’s complete name, race, age, sex, charge, paper type, and agency.
