How to Send Mail or Package
Inmates housed at the Granville County Detention Center may receive mail from family members and friends. All incoming mail with the exception of privileged mail is opened and inspected for contraband as well as money orders. Only self-stamped enveloped from the US Post Office or the Canteen will be accepted. To send mail to an inmate, please address it in the following format:

Funds can be deposited into an inmate’s account, family members and friends can send money orders or cashier’s checks. They may also deposit funds online by visiting the JailATM website. The ATM located in the visitor’s lobby of the Detention Center can also be used to deposit money. It accepts cash, credit, and debit deposits.
