The Sampson County Detention Center is a 252-bed facility that houses sentenced and unsentenced individuals. It features six housing pods which includes a direct supervision female pod, a direct supervision medium security pod for male inmates, an indirect supervision maximum security pod for male inmates; an indirect supervision maximum security special population pod; an indirect/direct supervision medium security male pod; and a direct supervision minimum security male dormitory.
