Visitation Hours
Visitation is a privilege granted to inmates housed in the Transylvania County Jail. Visitation is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9am to 11am, 1pm to 3pm, and 7pm to 8pm.
Each inmate is allowed 1 30-minute visit per week. Inmates must submit a list of 5 visitors on their authorized visitation list every 30 days. Visitors must bring a valid ID in order to visit. Individuals under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by a legal guardian or parent at all times.
The Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office maintains an online database of all inmates currently housed in its facility. The database is arranged alphabetically based on their last names. Each inmate has a record that displays their name, photo, race, sex, physical description, charges, admit time and date, and bond amount.
