The Nash County Detention Facility houses sentenced and unsentenced individuals. It can hold up to 259 male inmates and 36 female inmates. The facility can be found just behind the courthouse on West Washington Street in Nashville.

How to Send Mail or Package

Inmates housed in the Nash County Detention Facility may receive mail from family members and friends. All incoming mail must be sent through the US Post Office. It must include the sender’s complete name and return address. In addition, the staff will inspect all incoming mail for contraband. To send mail to an inmate, please use the address below.

Funds may be deposited into an inmate’s account using the kiosk located in the front lobby of the Detention Center. Money will also be accepted in the front lobby daily. In addition, you may deposit money online through the JailATM website. There are also walk-in locations from Cash Pay Today.

Visitation Hours

The Nash County Detention Center provides a video visitation system that allows inmates to visit with family and friends. Each inmate is allowed 6 15-minute remote video visits per day. The cost of a visit is $4.50. To set up a visit with an inmate, you will need to go to the iWebVisit website and create an account.
