The Caldwell County Detention Center houses individuals who have been charged or convicted of criminal violations. The facility has a daily average population of 185 inmates. Captain Thomas Bailey is the Detention Division Supervisor. He is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility and a staff of 46.

How to Send Mail or Package

Inmates at the Caldwell County Detention Facility are only allowed to receive legal mail and publications that come in from the US Postal Service. Any general mail must be sent through AccessCorrections.com. The sender is required to create an account before they can type messages and send photos that the inmate can view using the kiosk in the facility. All messages and photos need to be approved by the staff before they can be viewed. All general mail sent to the facility will be returned to the sender.

Family and friends can send funds to an inmate using the kiosk machine in the visitation area of the Detention Center. They can also mail a money order to the detention center. Money orders must include the name of the sender as well as the inmate’s name. Funds can also be deposited online through the AccessCorrections.com website or by calling 1-866-345-1884.

Visitation Hours

Inmates housed at the Caldwell County Detention Center are allowed two onsite visits every weekend and one offsite visit per day. Each visit is limited to 25 minutes. All visits must be scheduled by visiting www.icsolutions.com and should be at least 24 hours in advance. Each onsite visit can have up to 4 people. All adult visitors need to be registered online in order to visit. The visitation schedule is as follows:

The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office posts a list of the inmates currently housed in the Detention Center online. This list is arranged alphabetically based on the last names of the inmates. Each inmate listed shows their race, sex, booking number, charges, booking agency, docket number, booking date, and bond amount. The list is a PDF file which cannot be searched.
