How to Send Mail or Package
Inmates housed in the Davidson County Jail may receive mail from family and friends through the TextBehind system. TextBehind is a mail management provider that allows people to create and send electronic letters, drawings, greeting cards, and photos which the inmate can view. Family and friends can visit the TextBehind website or use their mobile app to create electronic mail. Handwritten letters can be sent to the TextBehind mailing address. The company will photocopy the letter before sending it to the county jail. To send written letters to TextBehind, it must be addressed in the following manner:
