How to Send Mail or Package

Inmates housed in the Iredell County Detention Facility may receive mail from family and friends. Incoming mail must include the sender’s complete name and return address. All incoming mail with the exception of privileged mail will be opened and inspected for contraband. To send mail to an inmate, please address it using the format below:

Funds may be deposited into an inmate’s account in several ways. The kiosk located in the main jail lobby is open 24/7. You may also deposit money by calling 866-232-1899 or visiting the TouchPay website. Make sure that you take note of the facility ID # 228687 and the inmate’s ID #. Money orders and cash will not be accepted.

Visitation Hours

Inmates at the Iredell County Detention Facility are allowed visitation. Each visit is limited to 2 adults and minor children. All visitors need to be on the list of approved visitors that the inmate submitted to Captain Adams. All visitors need to wear masks. Visits are by appointment only. Each visit is 15 minutes long and by video only. To schedule a visit, you must call 704-878-3131, Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Visits need to be scheduled at least 24 hours before. The visitation schedule is as follows:

The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office maintains a list of all individuals housed in the detention facility online on the VINE website. Each inmate’s record here displays his/her complete name, age, gender, race, photo, custody status, custody date, birthday, and ID number.
