Visitation Hours
Inmates at the Cumberland County Detention Center are permitted to visitation. Each inmate is allowed two visits per day, a total of 14 visits per week. Visitation is held 7 days a week. The hours are as follows:
Monday thru Friday
8:30am to 11:30am; 1:00pm to 4:30pm; and 6:30pm to 9:45pm.
Saturday, Sunday and Holidays
10:00am to 12:00pm; 1:00pm to 4:30pm; and 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
Each visit should have no more than 2 adults and 1 child or 1 adult and 2 children at a time. All visitors need to be signed in at the facility at least 5 minutes before their scheduled time.
Visitors can also choose to use the video visitation system which offers unlimited visits to inmates. However, there is a cost. A 10-minute visit costs $4 and 25 minutes cost $10. These online monitored video visits are available daily from 8:30am to 9:45pm.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office maintains an online database of all inmates currently in their custody. You can search the database using the inmate’s first and/or last name. Each inmate has a profile showing his photo, full name, booking ID, arrest date, charge, bond, age, race, and sex.

The Records Management Office of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for maintaining an online database of all reports for misdemeanor incidents and calls for service. Copies of incident and police reports as well as crime statistics are available to the public online.
